  • Location: Yi Sport Taekwondo 800 23rd Ave. South, Seattle, WA  98144
  • Session 1: 9:00-12:00 all White, Yellow, Green, and Blue betls.  Poomsae: Taeguk 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5
  • Session 2: 1:00-4:00 all Blue, Red, and Black belts.  Poomsae: Taeguk 5, 6, 7, 8, Koryo and Keumgang

You can attend both session or just one of the two.  One session is $20  or $35 for both.  Bring snacks, water, and note-taking material.  Camp Content:

  1. Learn WTF Poomsae Standards
  2. Proper warm up and cool down teachniques
  3. Pairs and team challenge
  4. Ring procedures

Our next WA State workout will be in eastern WA on March 21, 2009, 12-4pm. You are encouraged to come help build our statewide taekwondo community and to take part in this great opportunity for our athletes to grow and learn from one another. At our last event we had a fantastic turnout with over 50 people in attendance! 
 
Please note, this training session is intended to focus on higher level material and is limited to intermediate through advanced athletes. This workout is free of charge, but to help offset the facility costs and to support future events we’d like to suggest a $10 donation per athlete. However, no one will be turned away! All proceeds will go directly towards the state association.

The workout in Spokane turned out great. We had a little over 40 people in attendance and received great feedback from the athletes, instructors and parents. They were very excited to have an event come to that side of the state and were already asking when the next one would be. Dave Turley and Chris Jacobson were both their along with the instructors from Spokane to help. We warmed the group up together for an hour and then divided them into two groups based on skill level to focus on drills appropriate to their level. Since we had two rooms that approach worked out well.
